We put our animals' welfare and happiness first. All of our animals are raised in a habitat that allows them to romp, run, and express themselves however they see fit. Our goats are rotated out on pasture, and bed down in a warm barn at night; our chickens are let out of their coops first thing in the morning, and scratch, stretch and peck until the sun goes down. They are then closed safely in their coop to roost for the night. Our pigs spend their lives out in the pasture and surrounding woods, wallowing, rooting, and munching on all kinds of goodies. Our animals eat mostly forage that they find themselves, but we do supplement their foraging efforts with grass hay, fermented alfalfa, and locally grown grains.
